2026 PHL Week 14 Recap: Doubles Fly as the Stretch Run Tightens
Week 14 of the 2026 Pegasus Horseshoe League season delivered movement in both the standings and individual award races, highlighted by a record-tying performance from Devin Santos, another big night from Todd Andrews, a standout showing from B-player Jake Duperre and an increasingly tight race near the top of the league standings.
With only four weeks remaining in the regular season, Not Fast, Just Furious sits alone atop the overall standings at 28-14, while Keep Their Heads Ringin’ and Whole Lotta Pitches are now tied for second at 27-15.
For Whole Lotta Pitches, the move represents a quick turnaround after sitting third overall following Week 13. A 3-0 sweep of Orbital Bombardment pushed the team into the tie for second and also pulled it even with Keep Their Heads Ringin’ atop the Hercules Conference.
Whole Lotta Pitches Climbs With a Sweep
Whole Lotta Pitches turned in the highest-scoring team performance of Week 14, sweeping Orbital Bombardment 3-0 and scoring 67 team points in the process.
The other three matchups saw Not Fast, Just Furious sweep Steel the Point 3-0, Ring a Ling take two of three from Dark Horse and Keep Their Heads Ringin’ take two of three from Precious Cargo.
Not Fast, Just Furious improved to 28-14 (.667) with its sweep and now owns the best record in the league outright. Keep Their Heads Ringin’ and Whole Lotta Pitches follow at 27-15 (.643), with only one game separating all three teams as the regular season enters its final month.
Devin Santos Ties the Single-Night Doubles Record
The most historic individual performance of Week 14 belonged to Devin Santos, who recorded four doubles in three games, tying the PHL record for most doubles in a single league night.
Santos finished the night with 34 points, 10 ringers and four doubles, giving him seven doubles for the season.
That one performance also changed the complexion of the season-long Doubles Champion race.
Todd Andrews continues to lead with nine doubles and a .214 DbPG average, while Sean Gomes and Casey Santos are tied at eight doubles and .190 DbPG. Santos has now moved into striking distance with seven doubles and a .167 average.
With four weeks remaining, what had largely been a three-player race now has another legitimate contender.
Nine-Doubles Night Stands Out Historically
Santos wasn’t alone in finding both shoes around the stake.
The league combined for nine doubles in Week 14, easily the highest total of the 2026 season. The previous season high was six, reached multiple times earlier in the year.
The number becomes even more impressive when compared with recent seasons. No week during either the 2024 or 2025 season reached nine doubles—2024 topped out at eight and 2025 at six.
The last time the PHL produced at least nine doubles in a single regular-season week was 2023.
Santos accounted for nearly half of Week 14’s total by himself.
Andrews Extends His Doubles Lead
While Santos made the biggest jump, Todd Andrews made sure the top of the leaderboard didn’t stand still.
Andrews added another double of his own, bringing his league-leading season total to nine. He also produced the highest individual point total of Week 14, scoring 44 points with 13 ringers while helping Not Fast, Just Furious complete its 3-0 sweep.
Andrews is now averaging 12.07 points and 3.36 ringers per game while his team owns the best record in the league.
His ninth double gives him a narrow advantage over Gomes and Casey Santos as the Doubles Champion race heads into its final four weeks.
Jake Duperre Leads the B Players
One of Week 14’s best performances came from Jake Duperre, who led all B players with 39 points during Whole Lotta Pitches’ sweep.
Duperre recorded 10 ringers, nine singles and a double, and even outscored A-player Casey Santos 39-34 for the night.
The performance lifted Duperre to 298 points through 39 games, while his 27-12 individual record gives him a .692 winning percentage, the highest among the league’s regular players.
His big night was particularly important for Whole Lotta Pitches as the team moved into a tie for second overall.
Gomes Adds to His Scoring Championship Lead
The season-long battle between Sean Gomes and Casey Santos remains close, but Week 14 gave Gomes a little more breathing room.
Gomes scored 39 points while Santos scored 34, increasing Gomes’ advantage from just two points after Week 13 to seven points after Week 14.
Gomes now leads the league with 554 points and a 13.19 PPG average, while Santos sits second at 547 points and 13.02 PPG.
The difference remains small enough that a single strong night could change the order, but Gomes has now increased his advantage at an important point in the season.
Santos continues to lead the league in ringers with 145 and a 3.45 RPG average, while Gomes has 131 ringers and averages 3.12.
Rousseau Officially Joins the 3,000-Point Club
Week 14 also brought a major career milestone for Marc Rousseau.
Rousseau entered the week sitting at 2,999 career points and wasted little time crossing the threshold. His 41-point performance brought his career total to 3,040, officially making him a member of the PHL’s 3,000-point club.
It was another strong performance in what has been an excellent season for Rousseau. He now has 485 points, is averaging 11.55 PPG, and helped Keep Their Heads Ringin’ improve to 27-15.
Rousseau also sits among the league leaders in the advanced metrics, including a 14.31 PP30 and 19.60 PER.
The Individual Races After 14 Weeks
Several season awards remain very much undecided.
Gomes leads the scoring race at 13.19 PPG, followed closely by Casey Santos at 13.02. Tom Wolfe remains third at 12.26, with Andrews at 12.07.
Casey Santos continues to lead the ringer race at 3.45 RPG, with Andrews second at 3.36 and Gomes third at 3.12.
Josh Carroll remains the league’s singles leader at 5.03 SPG, followed by Ed MacNeil at 4.74 and Wolfe at 4.18.
The doubles race now features Andrews at .214 DbPG, Gomes and Casey Santos at .190 and Devin Santos at .167.
In the league’s advanced statistics, Gomes holds the PER lead at 21.59, narrowly ahead of Casey Santos at 21.32, while Santos leads Points Per 30 Minutes at 15.45, just ahead of Gomes at 15.21.
Four Weeks to Go
Week 14 tightened several races instead of separating them.
Only one game now separates the top three teams in the overall standings. The Hercules Conference is deadlocked between Keep Their Heads Ringin’ and Whole Lotta Pitches. Gomes and Santos remain separated by only seven points in the scoring race, and Devin Santos’ record-tying four-double night suddenly added another contender to one of the season’s closest award battles.
With just 12 games remaining for most full-time players, the 2026 season is entering the stage where every game—and sometimes every shoe—can have an impact on the final standings, individual awards and PHL record book.
