The 2026 Pegasus Horseshoe League regular season came down to the final night with conference positioning, individual awards and several milestones still unsettled. Players who had already completed their matches stayed around the pits to follow the remaining games, compare the latest numbers and see how the season-long races would end. By the time the final scores were recorded, the Scoring Championship had changed hands, Todd Andrews had secured two major individual awards, Whole Lotta Pitches had won Hercules on a tiebreaker, and three career milestones had been reached.
Casey Santos Completes the Comeback for the Scoring Title
Sean Gomes entered Week 18 with 685 points, seven ahead of Casey Santos at 678. Santos answered with 44 points and 13 ringers, while Gomes finished with 30 points, eight ringers and a double.
The swing moved Santos past Gomes in both total points and points per game. Santos finished with 722 points and a league-best 13.37 PPG, while Gomes closed at 715 points and 13.24 PPG. The race remained alive through the closing games of the season, and Gomes congratulated Santos afterward on winning the 2026 PHL Scoring Championship. Todd Andrews Takes the Ringer and Doubles Crowns
Todd Andrews finished another strong season with 45 points, 14 ringers and two doubles, giving him 192 ringers and 13 doubles.
His 3.56 RPG edged Santos’ 3.50 for the Cas Santos Ringer Championship, while his .241 doubles-per-game average topped Gomes’ .204 to secure the Doubles Championship. Santos, one of Andrews’ closest challengers in both races, congratulated Andrews on the doubles victory as the final standings became official. Whole Lotta Pitches Wins Hercules on the Final Night
Whole Lotta Pitches defeated Dark Horse 2-1, while Keep Their Heads Ringin’ lost 2-1 to Precious Cargo, leaving both teams tied at 33-21.
With the records even, the league’s head-to-head tiebreaker gave Whole Lotta Pitches the Hercules Conference Championship. Not Fast, Just Furious, already assured of Orion and the No. 1 overall seed, finished 37-17 after taking two of three from Ring a Ling. Precious Cargo and Ring a Ling both finished 28-26, followed by Steel the Point at 25-29, Dark Horse at 23-31 and Orbital Bombardment at 9-45.

The Rest of the Award Picture Comes Into Focus
Josh Carroll, despite not playing in Week 18, finished with a league-leading 5.06 SPG to capture the Pat Dooley Singles Championship. Keith DeBurgo closed with 39 points and 11 ringers and finished at 10.07 PPG, earning Best B Player honors.
The inaugural All-League PER standings placed Casey Santos, Sean Gomes and Todd Andrews as the top three qualifying players, followed by Tom Wolfe and Marc Rousseau in the next two positions.
Milestones Fall on the Final Night
Week 18 also produced three notable career milestones. Devin Santos scored 35 points to move past 2,000 career points, finishing at 2,031. Willie Coats scored 22 to cross 1,000, reaching 1,018. Casey Santos’ 44-point night carried him beyond 8,000 career points, finishing at 8,028.
Across the league, Week 18 produced 491 individual points, 116 ringers, 143 singles and six doubles. The regular season ended with 8,162 individual points, 1,840 ringers, 2,642 singles and 74 doubles.
On to the Playoffs
The regular season is complete, but the biggest games are still ahead. Not Fast, Just Furious enters the postseason as the league’s top seed, while Whole Lotta Pitches carries the Hercules title into the bracket after surviving a race that lasted through the final week. The individual awards are settled, the standings are final, and the focus now shifts to the pursuit of the 2026 PHL Championship.
